EXPANDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
SDCA values its student members and offers several opportunities for students to get involved at the annual conference. Students are encouraged to consider serving as a conference moderator, presenting a poster session, or simply just attending and making professional and personal contacts. Information on the various opportunities is posted on the SDCA website under the STUDENTS link.
SDCA has also expanded the graduate student scholarships given annually. This year, six scholarships in the amount of $250.00 each will be awarded —two to students at NSU, SDSU, and USD respectively. Information on the scholarship application is available on the SDCA website. Deadline for application is March 1, 2007.
SDCA is excited to offer three competitions this year directed at increasing graduate student involvement and participation. Get your fellow students involved and bring positive recognition to your university program.
