WOW! I look outside and see 21 inches of snow and it's still falling from the sky. What a great time to look forward to the all the events happening this spring.
APRIL 12TH-SDMHCA and SDSCA are sponsoring a pre-conference workshop with Ed Jacobs .Many of you may remember Dr. Jacobs from the stimulating and educational presentation on Impact Therapy he delivered at the pre-conference in 2006. He will be sharing more ideas as it relates to his approach and techniques integrating concepts from existing theories. Please join us on April 12th for the opportunity to earn 6 CEU'S and fill up your "counseling toolbox"!
APRL 12th -14th- SDCA Annual Conference- Planning for the conference is in full swing. Please join SDMHCA for the annual luncheon meeting and the presentation of the Howard Smith Award. Watch for your chance to vote on the candidates that have been nominated for the Howard Smith Award.
June 1st- Private Practice Workshop- As Spring ends and summer begins, SDMHCA will offer a workshop dealing with Private Practice in Sioux Falls. Susan Hoppenworth- Midwest Region Director for AMHCA, will share her expertise along with a panel of South Dakota clinicians. Details will be coming soon.
