Hi, my name is Dadra Avery, and I am the current President of the WRCA. I am a professional School Counselor at Sturgis Brown High School, in Sturgis South Dakota. I have been a school counselor for eight years. I have an LPC and also have a very small private practice at a local church in Sturgis. Prior to my counseling work, I worked as a Juvenile Corrections Agent for the South Dakota Department of Corrections for four years. I invite you to become involved in your professional organization. Hi my name is Kellie Thomas, I am presently President Elect for WRCA. I am a school counselor and have worked for the Meade School District since August 1996. Prior to employment with Meade School District I was employed by Lead/Deadwood Middle School as a counseling substituting . I also worked as a Program Coordinator with Black Hills Special Services for several years prior to earning a MS in School Counseling from SDSU West River Graduate Center. I earned my BS in Education from Black Hills State University and currently am working on a MS in Educational Administration. I am looking forward to serving as President Elect and becoming more active in our organization. I am also looking forward to working with other counselors in our local organization and across the state. Kellie Thomas
