SDCA's Sioux Chapter invites you to attend Cultural Competenct and the Ethical Counselor, presented by Dr. Kristine Ramsay-Seaner, assistant professor at SDSU. This professional development event will take play Friday, February 15th from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Sioux Falls University Center.

Training objectives of this presentation are:
Recognizing multiculturalism as the foundation for ethical counseling practice.
Discovering ourselves as cultural beings and embracing the discomfort of not knowing.
Exploring our personal values as they relate to our work as mental health professionals.
Identifying best practices in honoring diversity and utilizing a multicultural approach.
